1. Seller
Les Artisans du Digital, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS), RCS Paris 952 778 041, 25 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, EU VAT number FR21952778041. Customer service: bonjour@maskotto.com.
These terms apply to any purchase of Maskotto credits and subscriptions by a consumer. They supplement the Terms of Use.
2. Credits
- Each generation (character, video, motion transfer…) costs a number of credits shown before you start it.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be refunded in money (except as set out below or required by law), exchanged or transferred.
- Credits closest to expiry are used first.
- Failed generation = credits refunded automatically to your balance. A generation refused by moderation is not charged, or is also refunded.
3. Our offers
Free trial. When you sign up, you get 50 free credits, with no payment method required. One trial per person. Trial credits remain valid as long as the account is active.
Monthly plans. You receive a credit allowance each month. These credits are valid for 1 month and do not roll over.
Annual plans. Paid once for 12 months. Credits are granted each month and are valid for 1 month.
Credit packs. One-off purchase, no subscription. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Founder offer. One-time payment of €149 incl. VAT. You receive 150 credits per month for 18 months. Each month's credits are valid for 1 month. The offer does not renew automatically. It is limited to 100 spots. If we discontinue the Service before the 18 months end, we refund the remaining months pro rata.

4. Prices and VAT
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes. The VAT rate applied is that of your country of residence in the European Union (One-Stop-Shop / OSS scheme). In the mobile apps, the price shown by Apple or Google applies, in your local currency.
Price changes. We notify you at least 30 days before any increase in your subscription price. The increase applies from the next period. If you refuse it, you can cancel free of charge before it takes effect.
5. Ordering and payment
On the web. Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. You receive a confirmation and an invoice by email.
On iOS and Android. Purchases are made through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), under their own terms. Apple or Google bills you. We use RevenueCat to sync your purchases with your Maskotto account.
Credits are added to your account as soon as payment is confirmed.
6. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year), at the current price, until cancelled.
For annual plans, we remind you by email of the renewal date and of your right not to renew, between 1 and 3 months before the renewal date.
Cancel in 3 clicks (web subscription): Account → Subscription → Cancel my subscription. This feature is available at any time, directly in the app and on the website. You receive a confirmation of cancellation with its effective date.
Subscription bought on mobile: cancel from your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). A direct link is available in Maskotto.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep your credits until they expire. No pro rata refund is made for a started period, unless the law provides otherwise.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a rule, you have 14 days after purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason (French Consumer Code, Article L221-18).
Waiver. Credits are digital content supplied immediately. At checkout, we ask you to tick a box to:
- request immediate access to your credits before the 14-day period ends;
- acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code, Article L221-28, 13°).
This confirmation is sent to you by email with your receipt.
If you do not tick the box, credits become available at the end of the 14-day period and you can withdraw until then.
How to withdraw: use the "Withdraw from contract" feature in Account → Purchases, or email bonjour@maskotto.com using the form below. We refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.
Model form: "To Les Artisans du Digital, 25 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, bonjour@maskotto.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for [offer], ordered on [date]. Name, account email, date."
For purchases made on the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Contact us if needed and we will help.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (French Consumer Code, Articles L224-25-12 et seq.). In case of a defect, contact bonjour@maskotto.com: we will bring the service into conformity or, failing that, reduce the price or refund you.
The result of an AI generation is variable by nature. A video that does not exactly match your expectations is not, on its own, a lack of conformity. A technically failed generation, however, is always refunded in credits.
9. Account deletion
If you delete your account, your remaining credits are lost. Remember to cancel your subscription first, especially if it was taken out through Apple or Google.
10. Customer service and mediation
Write to us at bonjour@maskotto.com. We reply within 5 business days.
If the disagreement persists after a written complaint, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator listed in the legal notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the EU. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent court is the one designated by law.
